Shoutster lets you discover popular websites in real-time. From the Shoutster homepage, you can view the current number of people ("Shoutsters") viewing the most popular websites and then directly jump to any one.

On any website, Shoutster lets you meet others with similar interests (as they are browsing the same webpage as you) and immediately chat with them, add them to your buddy list, etc. This only makes web surfing more interactive and fun.

Shoutster enhances your web experience while still letting you freely browse and read content on the web as you normally do. The transparent chat window collapses and expands dynamically without blocking content on the site.

Shoutster also acts as a web browser. In addition in having an address bar, it lets you bookmark your favorite websites to quick jump to those locations for chat right away.

Even better, there is no download or install necessary. Instead, Shoutster lives directly on the webpage.

Charles is the premier "Jack of All Trades." He is "a comic artist with experience in bioinformatics deferring medical school at Stanford to pursue Web 2.0 startup projects, nuclear engineering projects, and orthopedic prosthetic design research." Though Richard and Jing think he deferred to hang out with them more.

Richard is our tech guru with extensive experience in PHP, AJAX, DHTML, and Javascript after graduating from the rigorous EECS program at Berkeley. While he is a sleep-deprived engineer like the rest of us, he also makes time for playing games, chess, and Settlers! Oh, and Richard likes eggs.

Jing hails from the east coast with a dual degree in business (thanks to Wharton) and Digital Media Design. She is the team's front-end evangelist completely obssessed with design, along with other "business-y" things. She is known for her random bursts of energy and excitement, especially when she sees something totally cool. Oh, she's not related to Richard ;p.

Yoink'd Mediabox is a social web media player (like Windows Media Player, iTunes, Winamp, etc) that lets you stream your favorite videos (from YouTube, Google, etc), create playlists of these videos, and share them with friends.
